TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. A non-refundable payment of 20% made payable to S Scott is required at the time of booking.
2. Dates are only reserved once this payment is received.
3. The final balance for photographic services is payable on receipt of your photographs.
4. All prices and packages are subject to change. Prices are adjusted periodically; future bookings will be priced at the time of booking.
5. Future re-orders will be charged at the present days prices.
6. No additional traveling expenses will be incurred unless previously stated.
7. Stuart Scott Photography requests the Bride and Groom’s permission to use the digital images and reproductions for the photographer's website, displays, samples and self promotional advertising. By signing this contract, Stuart Scott Photography has your consent to this model release.
8. It is our duty to provide you with a unique service.
9. Copyright law assigns the copyright of all imagery to Stuart Scott Photography. You may not copy the photographs taken under this contract, or allow copies to be made photographically, electronically or by any other means unless permitted by Stuart Scott Photography in the form of a copyright waiver.
10. If Stuart Scott Photography has to cancel this contract for reasons beyond their control their liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid. The client may cancel this contract at any time by giving written notice, however, the deposit is non-refundable due to loss of business for Stuart Scott Photography.
11. Should a client reschedule their wedding date, they should inform Stuart Scott Photography in writing. This would be classed as a cancellation and a new booking form would need to be drawn up. Your deposit will be transferable to your new date. In the event of a scheduled wedding not taking place due to unforeseen circumstances, no money will be refunded.
12. Stuart Scott Photography shall be granted artistic and creative license in relation to the choice of locations and poses used. The photographers judgment on photographic style and number of photographs taken, shall be deemed correct. Due to changes of weather and the availability and willingness of subjects, Stuart Scott Photography will do their best to honor requested photographs but do not undertake to guarantee any specific picture nor incorporate any specific background, location or group.
13. Stuart Scott Photography will not be held responsible for the lack of coverage caused by the bride and groom, wedding party, guests, not being on time or interfering or restricting the photographer's duties.
14. Family and friends are permitted to take photographs as long as they do not disturb, disrupt or interfere with the photographer's duties.
15. Stuart Scott Photography will not be held responsible for the church, reception, hotel etc having restrictions that prevent images from being taken.
16. Any announcement made that will affect your photography and the day, timings, venue etc should be notified as soon as possible in writing to Stuart Scott Photography.
17. Any circumstances not brought to the attention that affect the outcome of the wedding will not be the responsibility of Stuart Scott Photography.
18. Any complaints should be raised by the client with Stuart Scott Photography in writing. We endeavor to respond to any complaint within 48 hours.
19. All digital files will be archived for a period of ten years after the date of the wedding. All film negatives will be held on file indefinitely.
20. All re-orders shall be an extension of this license.
21. All re-orders must be paid for in full upon delivery.
22. A map should be provided to prevent the photographer from getting lost, contact details of all vendors should be provided.
23. All books, proofs, prints and disks etc should be collected in person unless prior arrangements have been made.
24. Stuart Scott photography accepts no responsibility for the reliability of the post. We cannot be held responsible for loss or damage of mail, prints, books and disks etc that are sent through the post. A courier service can be arranged; the client shall reimburse charges incurred by Stuart Scott Photography.
25. It is advisable that you make a copy of your booking form for your own benefit.
26. The books should be handled with care. In case of mishandling or negligence, books may be repaired or replaced at the client's expense.
27. Stuart Scott Photography takes no responsibility for the deterioration of photographs and books due to improper care and handling. All books and prints should be stored flat in a cool area away from heat and direct sunlight.
28. All of the above agreements apply to all of our work and books.
